Why an A-Frame — and Why Inflatable

Most modern camping tents are domes or rectangular cabins. This one isn't. The A-frame is older, simpler, and — for the job this tent is actually built for — more capable.

What the A-frame geometry does:

  • Sheds wind along sloped surfaces rather than presenting flat vertical walls to a gust. Cabin tents catch wind like a sail; A-frames cut through it.
  • Sheds rain and snow off the roof without pooling. No flat roof = no sagging under wet snow load.
  • 100.3 in / 2.5 m peak height down the centerline gives full standing clearance — taller than most cabin tents — without the wide vertical walls that fight the wind.

And why inflatable instead of poles:

  • Raft-grade PVC frame — the same structural material used in inflatable river rafts. Built to flex under load, hold pressure for days, and shrug off the kind of impact that snaps aluminum or fiberglass poles.
  • Zipper-reinforced structural members — the frame doesn't just hold air, it's locked in place by zippered sleeves that distribute load across the fabric.
  • 5–10 minute setup with the included hand pump. No pole sorting in the dark, no broken sections to splice.

Old geometry, modern frame. The result is a shelter that goes up fast, holds up in weather, and doesn't fight you when conditions get bad.

The Floor That Doesn't Leak

The floor is a one-piece molded tub — not a flat sheet stitched to the walls, but a basin with raised edges sewn into the tent body as a single unit.

Why this matters:

In a standard tent, the floor-to-wall seam sits right at ground level. Water wicks along the seam, pools against it, and eventually pushes through. Every tent that leaks at the floor leaks at that seam.

A tub floor moves the seam up the wall — typically 4–6 inches off the ground. Puddles, splashback, and morning dew never reach it. The floor itself is continuous PVC-backed fabric with no stitch holes at the base.

This isn't a premium upgrade. It's the minimum engineering required to keep a tent dry on real ground — mud, wet grass, shallow runoff. If your tent floor doesn't do this, it will leak. This one does.

Built for All Four Seasons

Most tents are built for summer and tolerate spring. This one is designed to work year-round — and the features that make that possible are structural, not cosmetic.

Cold weather:
Two stove jacks — one on the tent body, one on the rainfly — let you run a wood stove with the rainfly on or off. The PVC air frame holds pressure in freezing temperatures where aluminum poles become brittle and fiberglass cracks. The black-coated inner fabric blocks light and adds a layer of thermal insulation, keeping heat inside longer after your stove goes out.

Hot weather:
A zippered AC/heater port lets you run a portable unit directly into the tent. Double-layer mesh windows on every side create cross-ventilation without letting insects in. The blackout coating on the purple variant cuts solar heat gain through the tent walls — the interior stays noticeably cooler than uncoated tents under the same sun.

Rain and wind:
PU3000mm waterproof rating on the outer fabric. Tub floor with raised seams. A-frame geometry sheds rain and wind load instead of catching it. The black-coated rainfly covers the full tent body with its own stove jack passthrough.

Four-season doesn't mean "summer tent with a stove jack added." It means the tent was engineered from the frame out to handle heat, cold, rain, and wind — not just survive them, but stay comfortable through them.

Rainfly Doubles as a Canopy

The rainfly isn't just rain protection — it's a second structure.

When attached to the tent, it works as a full-coverage black-coated rain shell with its own integrated stove jack, so you can run a chimney pipe through the fly without removing it in winter.

When detached, the same rainfly converts into a freestanding sun and rain canopy using the included guylines and stakes. Set it up next to the tent as a shaded cooking area, gear storage, or open-air living space. The black coating blocks UV and reduces heat underneath — it works as genuine shade, not just overhead fabric.

This means you carry one item that does two jobs. In fair weather, the canopy extends your usable campsite footprint. In foul weather, the fly locks down over the tent body for full waterproof coverage. No separate tarp to buy, no extra poles to pack.

Design Background

Senleeto has been making inflatable structures since 2016 — starting with commercial rain canopies for outdoor events, then moving into camping shelters based on direct feedback from trade show buyers who kept asking for something they could sleep in.

The A-frame design is one of the oldest tent geometries in existence. We didn't reinvent it. We replaced the part that breaks — the pole frame — with raft-grade PVC air beams that flex under wind load instead of snapping, and hold pressure for days without top-up.

Before You Order

A few things worth knowing before you buy:

This tent is large and heavy. At 86 lbs packed, it's not a backpacking tent. It's designed for car camping, base camps, semi-permanent setups, and glamping sites where you drive to your spot and unload.

Setup takes 5–10 minutes, but read the manual first. The inflation process is straightforward, but the zipper-reinforced frame structure has a specific sequence. Watch the setup video or read the included guide before your first trip — not at the campsite in the dark.

Stove use requires your own safety precautions. The stove jacks are heat-resistant pass-throughs, not fireproof barriers. Use a properly rated tent stove, maintain clearance from fabric surfaces, ensure ventilation, and never leave a stove unattended. A fire mat under and behind the stove is strongly recommended.

The AC port is not pre-fitted with a unit. It's a zippered opening sized for standard portable AC exhaust hoses. You supply the AC unit.

Color accuracy. The purple color may appear slightly different on screen versus in person depending on your display settings and lighting conditions.
